CAT/walk

Milton Keynes is set to turn into Milan for a night as the Buszy plays host to a charity fashion night in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society. Not to be missed, the July 22nd event will feature a catwalk of models showcasing boutique clothing donated by local vintage fashion shops. Not limiting the evening to a just a fashion show, there will be a champagne reception, a dance group and of course a bar and an after-show party hosted by Avant Garde. There’s also the chance to take part in a charity raffle with some great prizes. Alzheimer’s affects roughly 465,000 people in the UK, and there is currently no cure for the disease. All of the proceeds from this event will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Society, the leading care and research charity, to help them provide support for people with dementia and their families and carers. Tickets for this event are just £10, with a guest speaker from the Alzheimer’s Society and a fashion blogger for Topshop also confirmed. So get down to the Buszy (above the old bus station, opposite MK Central train station) on Friday 22nd July at 7.00 pm for what promises to be an unforgettable evening for an excellent and worthwhile cause.
