I'm well excited about the recent confirmation that the mega PLATFORM SOUL are coming back to Milton Keynes for one night of all things 70's, soul, disco and funk. The guys are stunning, they have a full twelve piece line up, authentic costumes and full light show. They will have you dancing the night away. Fashionably Charitable – Come and show your support for the Alzheimer’s Society

Milton Keynes is set to turn into Milan for a night as the Buszy plays host to a charity fashion night in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society. Not to be missed, the July 22^nd event will feature a catwalk of models showcasing boutique clothing donated by local vintage fashion shops. Not limiting the evening to a just a fashion show, there will be a champagne reception, a dance group and of course a bar and an after-show party hosted by Avant Garde. There’s also the chance to take part in a charity raffle with some great prizes. Alzheimer’s affects roughly 465,000 people in the UK, and there is currently no cure for the disease. All of the proceeds from this event will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Society, the leading care and research charity, to help them provide support for people with dementia and their families and carers. Tickets for this event are just £10, with a guest speaker from the Alzheimer’s Society and a fashion blogger for Topshop also confirmed. So get down to the Buszy (above the old bus station, opposite MK Central train station) on Friday 22^nd July at 7.00 pm for what promises to be an unforgettable evening for an excellent and worthwhile cause.

Milton Keynes CAMRA will be bringing their internationally renowned Real Ale Festival to the Buszy in October 2011. Several days of good drinks, good food and good music! The Real Ale Festivals are known for their fantastic atmospheres and we're made up that they have chosen to make their new home at the Buszy. Keep your eyes on the Buszy website for further info. Local artists, traders and sellers had the finest selection of housewares, fashions, jewellery, crafts and handmade goods. LOFT PARTY GOES OFF

Sunday 1st May saw one of the biggest parties to hit MK take over the Buszy for an all nighter of gorgeous ear candy, cocktails and Balearic beats. For months the striking promo for the Loft Party was circulating blogs, facebook and emails, but the location remained a secret for weeks, until finally it was out, the Buszy was hosting a Loft Party with one hell of a line up:

As the sun sank behind the glass of MK Central Station the Buszy garden started to rumble with the beautiful beats of summer vibes and ice hitting glass as cocktails flowed. As the coolness of the night started to sink in the party moved upstairs to the Loft setup with deeper tunes, glitterballs and lighting that created a sexy atmosphere.
